Directions to The Container House - Vaal River Plot

Directions from Pretoria, Johannesburg Northern and Western suburbs: (See below for directions from Johannesburg Eastern Suburbs and Southern Suburbs)Take the N1 (South) towards Bloemfontein.
Go through the Grassmere Toll Plaza. From the Toll Plaza, Travel 37.8km and take the turn off that says R53 Potchefstroom / R42 Vanderbylpark. (Do not take the first turn off to Vereeniging as this goes to Sasolburg)
You will see a Garage on the right side of the highway with 2 high green pillars with cars on top of them.
Turn left towards Vanderbylpark.
Travel 2km and turn right to Loch Vaal.
Travel 4.8km to a T Junction. Turn right.
Travel 1.5km and then turn left to Parys (R42).
Travel 6.5km (over Vaal River by the Barrage).
**Turn right to Vaal Eden.
Travel 9.8km to where the tar road ends. Turn left.
The road is now a gravel road. Travel 650m and turn right to Welbedacht farm. As you go down the farm road, where you see a sign keep right, you must go left.
Go through the gate. Close the gate after going through.
Follow the farm road for about 100m and turn to the left just before the pig sty. Follow the road for about 800m. Don’t turn right where the Electricity Pylon meets the road. Continue along the road for about 800mwhere you will see a sign Doncaster Drive. Turn right and follow the road through the lane of trees towards the River. You will see a number of large Shipping containers, a house,
and green water tank on top of a stand. You have arrived.

Take the R26 to Vereeniging. Continue along this road, through Sasolburg towards Parys. Look out for the sign to “Barrage” about 10km the other side of Parys. Turn right. Follow the road until the T Junction. Turn left. Travel about 2km until the sign to Vaal Eden. Follow the directions as above where you see **.
