Limietberg Nature Reserve
Limietberg (Mountain of Limits) is located in the rugged Du Toitskloof mountains, just north of the Boland mountain range. The mountains are riddled with hiking trails, ranging in length from 5 km to 36 km. Most trails are quite challenging due to the steep rocky terrain that is typifies this mountainous region.
Summers can be hot and winters can be quite cold and wet. So hikers should be always be wary of adverse weather conditions.
Access to the region is via the beautiful Bains Kloof Pass that wends it's way along the steep walled gorge of the Witrivier.

- from Wellington, follow the R303 toward Ceres
- Tweede Tol campsite is located 20 km into the Bainskloof Pass
