HOUSE RULES OF THE COMPLEX
With the privilege of making these premises available for your enjoyment, comes our responsibility to the rest of the owners. Kindly adhere to the following :
Any tenant vacating a unit to ensure the unit is left secure.
Any complaints regarding the conduct of anyone staying in the apartment may result in security escorting everyone off the property and no refund will be made available.
INDEMNITY
The occupation and use of the units and communal property, is at your own risk. The owners of the unit and/or Dorado Bay Body Corporate will not be responsible for any theft, injury, death or any other claims of whatsoever nature, under any circumstances whatsoever. (The Body Corporate Rules will apply to all Guests and their visitors).
TERMS OF PAYMENT
Quotations are valid for a period of 7 days from the date provided.
A deposit of 30% of the total cost is required within 7 days from the date of quotation to secure the booking. Should no deposit be received within this period, the apartment will be available to other guests if occupation is required during the same time period.
Payment of the outstanding balance of 70% of the total cost is required 14days prior to arrival during out of season, and mid-season periods and 30 days prior to the date of arrival during High/Peak season, by means of cash deposit and electronic transfers only.
Entry will not be allowed on arrival at the complex should all payments not be made in full and proof of payment was sent to the owners.
No bookings will be acceptable should there not be an adult aged over 21 years with the party staying in the apartment.
CANCELLATION POLICIES
During out of season and mid-season periods: Should you cancel your booking less than 30 days before occupation your deposit will unfortunately be forfeited.
NO REFUND FOR PEAK SEASONS IF BOOKINGS ARE CANCELLED LESS THAN 30 DAYS PRIOR THE DATE OF OCCUPATION
Special Arrangements during Lockdown changes:
If lockdown rules are announced, that overlaps with booking times and intra-provincial travel is prohibited, the deposit of 30% will be forfeited, but all other fees will be refunded regardless of the notice period. As an alternative, guests can take a voucher for the money’s paid and move their booking to a more convenient time. This voucher is valid for the same calendar year and should the booking be moved into the next calendar year, with rates changes, the difference in daily rates will be applicable.
Should guests decide to cancel their bookings, but no restrictions were communicated regarding intra-provincial travel, the normal cancellation rules will apply.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIME
BREAKAGES AND DAMAGE DURING YOUR STAY
In case of breakages of glasses and crockery, kindly replace the items in a similar style alternatively you can leave R30 per item on departure. All major damages to all other items in the unit, if caused by yourself, will be billed to you after your departure. We trust that you will respect this arrangement if necessary. This policy implies that the administration of a breakage fee is not required.
Please be careful of sun tan lotion and self-tanning lotion on our linen. We pride ourselves in trying to supply crisp white linen to our guests and need your assistance in keeping it up☺ The replacement fee for damaged linen is R1000.
Lost Keys: In the event of losing the unit’s keys a replacement fee of R500 will be payable by yourself.

| The unit sleeps maximum 6 adults and 2 children if arranged with the owners during the booking of the unit. Apart from those originally booked into the apartment, no additional visitors are allowed to sleep/stay over in the apartment. No bookings will be acceptable should there not be an adult aged over 21 years with the party staying in the apartment. Entry will not be allowed on arrival at the complex should all payments not be made in full and proof of payment was sent to the owners.. We regret no pets are allowed. Bath towels are provided, but kindly bring own beach towels. NO SMOKING IS ALLOWED INSIDE THE UNIT. There is ample space on the veranda. Any complaints regarding the conduct of anyone staying in the apartment may result in security escorting everyone off the property and no refund will be made available.
