Vamizi

Welcome to Vamizi, an eco-gem on the quiet side of life in Zinkwazi. Situated a few metres from the start of a network of the most glorious nature trails, and with a quiet park in front of our property, and with the beach 150 metres away...you really couldn't ask for more from an already perfect seaside village on the North Coast of KwaZulu-Natal.

Our property is completely off-grid, and boasts an entirely indigenous garden, with the richest fauna and flora, from adorable banded mongoose, to cheeky vervet monkeys, to tiny tinker barbets and collared sunbirds.

The house sleeps six, with a queen bed in the master bedroom, a double bed in the adjoining room, and two 3/4 beds in the two bedrooms with a garden view. Both the master bedroom, and the adjoining room overlook the pool and park.

There is one full bathroom in the house with a bath and shower; there is a separate toilet, and also a separate shower. 

There is a dining room, self-catering kitchen with a gas hob and microwave; super comfy lounge area; light and airy undercover patio with table and chairs; and parking for one vehicle inside the property, and a second vehicle in the driveway.

We have a pool (with a cover), fibre WiFi, and the house has an alarm facility and is CCTV monitored.

Our caretaker Precious is truly that - precious!! He will take excellent care of you during your stay with us at Vamizi. We look forward to hosting you!!

Zinkwazi: is the jewel of the North Coast. Well known for its swimming, fishing, surfing, running and biking trails and so much more, Zinks, as the locals have dubbed it, has long been a must-visit for nature lovers, birders, and weary souls who get so tired of always working...all they want is to rest somewhere quiet, recharge their batteries, and enjoy time with their spouses and children!! A simple need - but how hard that can be to achieve in this world!! 

Well, we want to encourage you: you CAN rest at Vamizi. We have made it so for you. Our home is surrounded by the peace of nature. It is private, clean, simple and yet beautiful. The beach is a one-minute walk away - a breeze for a family with little ones. 

Zinkwazi has three restaurants, including a skiboat club, and a pizza parlour. Ballito is 40 minutes away, and the airport a little further south. We offer airport transfer (safe, and with our trusted driver), and yes, we do organise trips for holiday makers wanting to explore further north into the game parks, or even further inland, right up to the Central Drakensberg!!
