Once an old granite quarry, Eagle Canyon has been re-invented into what can only be described as an exquisite golf estate which is conveniently located in Honeydew, on Johannesburgs West Rand. The estate boasts an 18-hole Colorado Links golf course as well as an immaculate clubhouse, putting green, driving range, day spa, gym, tennis courts, and walkways around the landscaped park. The golf course comprises of a 7 000+ meter 18-hole golf course which is set in this magnificent canyon, playing around the canyon walls and along and over beautiful water features. The course was designed by Douw van der Merwe and constructed by Wonder Gardens and ensures every one who plays has experience more than just a round of golf. The course has a par 72 rating and comes complete with a 330m long and 80m wide driving range. There are target green positioned across the range for varied levels of expertise as well as a chipping green with two bunkers ensuring an all round practice. The teeing area is made up of 70% grass and 30% artificially grassed bays, which are sheltered.
No top standard golf course is complete without a good clubhouse and Eagle Canyons course is overlooked by one of the finest clubhouses in South Africa which has world class facilities. Saying it has world class facilities is one thing but it can only truly be appreciated by visiting its a fully stocked pro shop, academy and relaxing bar and bar lounge area. Its patios afford you with breath taking sunset views and it is completed by function and conference rooms (There is one large function room ideal for banqueting functions as well as two small conference rooms available which can be used separately, or combined into one large venue), a Senshi Spa and Wellbeing Centre. It is also home to the halfway house and restaurant.

The Senshi Day Spa is a Chinese Fusion spa which offers you a sense of escape, rejuvenation and recuperation and is South Africas first Chinese Fusion spa, ensuring you of the ultimate in luxury and comfort. Directions:
On the Krugersdorp (R28) Highway:
Take the Zwartkop/Randburg off ramp
Turn left at the top off the off ramp onto Beyers Naude
Straight over Peter Road
2nd robot after Peter Rd (Blueberry Ave) turn right
Entrance gate is approx. 800m on your right

On the N1:
Take the Beyers Naude off ramp (Turn left if coming from the Roodepoort direction and right if coming from the Johannesburg direction)
Turn left into Witkoppen/Christian DeWet
First robot turn right and follow the road to the right
Eagle Canyon entrance approx 600m on your left.
