The Thaba Kwena Crocodile Farm is in the beautiful province of Limpopo and is the largest crocodile farm in South Africa that is open to the public and it has approximately 20 000 crocodiles.
Theses animals usually lie around basking in the sun most of the day but there are guided tours daily that teach you some interesting facts about these magnificent and ancient creatures, as well as watching them being fed. That is not to be missed.
There is a curio shop and a tea garden if you want to buy some memoirs or just relax with friends and have something to drink. The farm is open daily between 9am and 4pm.
