Settlers Park Nature Reserve
Located in the Baakens River Valley in the heart of the city, this 80 hectare nature reserve offers great birding opportunities to see a variety of birdlife including woodpeckers, flycatchers, and various species of sunbirds. Weavers, warblers, waxbills and kingfishers are often spotted along the Baakens River and in the reeds.
