LOCATION AND ARRIVAL
Shayamanzi Houseboats are moored at Jozini Tiger Lodge, in Northern KZN. Exclusive Charters and Social Cruises board at 2 pm and disembark at 10 am. There is secure, complimentary parking for Guest vehicles within the Jozini Tiger Lodge grounds for Shayamanzi Guests. All Guests are required to sign the Shayamanzi Indemnity Forms on arrival at Jozini Tiger Lodge and prior to Boarding. One of our staff will be on-site to welcome you, assist you with the necessary paperwork and label and transport your luggage to the Houseboat. Should you wish to have a Pool Terrace Luncheon, for your own account, at Jozini Tiger Lodge on the day of boarding, please arrive at 12:30 pm.

IDYLLIC CRUISING SEASON - MAY TO AUGUST
Excellent Game Viewing and Bird Watching. Fishing active on trawl, in the river and gorge. Success at midday in warmer shallow waters. Magnificent, cooler, calmer weather. Hot jacuzzi all day long! Fantastic time for photography, conferencing and relaxing!

PRIME TIGER FISHING SEASON - SEPTEMBER TO APRIL
Hot! Exciting thrill of Tiger Fishing. Game Viewing excellent in the early morning and late afternoons. Jacuzzi as you like it! Beers ice cold!

EXCLUSIVE PRIVATE CHARTERS
Reserve the entire Houseboat and her Crew for the Exclusive Charter of your Party for a minimum of two nights.

INDIVIDUAL CABIN RESERVATIONS ON SOCIAL CRUISES
Reserve an Individual Cabin on a Social Cruise for a minimum of two nights. We regret no children under the age of six.

CABINS
All Cabins are air-conditioned, serviced daily and are en-suite with a Shower, Basin and Toilet. All linen, including jacuzzi towels, is provided. Bathroom amenities include: Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash, Hand Soap, Sanitiser, Body Lotion. Each Cabin has a fan, hairdryer and plug point.

MEALS
On-board Meals include: Early morning pre-fishing rusks and cereals. Full-house Breakfast. Light Lunch. Bar Snacks. Three Course Dinner/Braai. Children's Meals and special dietary requirements by prior arrangement. Tailor-made Menus for Special Occasions.

SHAYAMANZI MERCHANDISE
We offer a select range of Shayamanzi Merchandise for you to purchase prior to your Cruise; Fishing Hats and Caps, Golf Shirts, Lizzard Flasks, Buffs and Bags. In addition to this, we can create dual branded items for corporate events and celebrations. We also offer Shayamanzi Birding Booklets.

CAPTAIN AND CREW
Each Cruise is chartered by a qualified Captain and his Crew, which will include a Head Chef, Tender Boat Skippers and Deckhands. The Captain is in charge of the Vessel and Charter and has the appropriate skills, experience, responsibility and authority to hold this position.

TENDER BOATS AND FISHING TACKLE
Three Skippered Tender Boats are allocated to each Charter for Tiger Fishing and Game Viewing throughout the Cruise. The Houseboat is fully stocked with Fishing Rods and the required Tackle. While there is no need for Guests to bring their own fishing equipment, they are welcome to do so. We do charge for damaged or lost Fishing Tackle.

CRUISE ROUTES AND OVERNIGHT MOORINGS
The Houseboat will cruise during the day and moor at a different bay each evening. The Charter Route is at the Captain's discretion and is based on his Guests' interests and the prevailing weather conditions.

SPECIAL OCCASIONS AND ENTERTAINMENT
Our large screen TV, Spotify and WiFi make for great entertainment; Karaoke, dancing and viewing your favourite photos of the day, family photo stories and Fishing Competitions too!

As you Cruise across the 16000 ha of Lake Jozini's inland waters, you are surrounded by Game Reserves rich in wildlife and bird species. You are likely to see some of the following: Rhino, Hippos, Crocodiles, Giraffe, Zebra, many species of Antelope, Hyena, Leopard, Wildebeest, Buffalo, Elephant and most certainly Warthog! With over 400 species of birds, you will not be bored; there is always something fascinating happening in Nature to capture your attention.
