Smoking or vaping: Smoking and vaping/hubbly are strictly prohibited inside the house.

5. Safety and Security

Please lock all doors and windows when you leave a room, the property or go to sleep.
Monkeys Warning

There are monkeys in the area, to avoid attracting them, ensure that all food is stored out of their sight (in the cupboards and fridge).

We recommend keeping all doors and windows closed when not in use or leaving the house.

The owner will not be held liable for any damage caused by monkeys during your stay.
Your cooperation in keeping the property safe from monkeys is greatly appreciated.

The monkeys are very bold and will come into the house and wreak havoc if precautions are not properly taken as stated above.

6. Additional Rules

No eating or drinking in bedrooms
Do not use white towels for make-up, small black/grey face towels are provided for make-up removal.
Crickets/fireworks are not allowed in the Estate.

7. Quiet Hours

Please respect our neighbours and keep noise to a minimum after 10:00pm. (10:00 pm to 8:00am). Keep noise levels down during these hours.

9. Waste Management

MONDAYs and THURSDAYS – general waste put in black bags (please use the green wheelie bin when leaving rubbish outside) bin in the courtyard downstairs (by the garage). New rubbish bags can be found under the island basin.
Please do not put trash outside or on the porch, where monkeys can get into it.

10. Housekeeping

A housekeeping service can be arranged for daily service (or every alternate day) between 08h30am to 14h30pm to ensure the property remains clean. The cost of this service is R500.00 per visit. Please notify the host to make arrangements beforehand.

11. Damages

Of course we hope that you will handle the inventory with care, but small mishaps are human and things can break. We ask you to inform us promptly so that we can organise a replacement. We will also find a solution together in the event of any major damage.

12. Barbeque / Braai

A barbeque is available in the outdoor area of the home. Please note – Gas safety: Make sure to close the gas cylinder after use.
Please clean the barbecue after use.

13. Patio Furniture

With the weather fluctuations and much rain, we have provided covers for the patio furniture . We humbly request that you cover the furniture when it rains.
