Butjani Lodge
Wildreservaat / Bosveld Verblyf In Dinokeng Noord
Butjani Lodge is a fully-catered bush lodge situated on a 650 hectare private conservancy within the Dinokeng region. Pretoria also makes it an attractive malaria free destination for local residents.
The conservancy which has a savannah grasslands habitat and a perennial river on the property is home to giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, hartebeest, blesbok, impala, kudu and a number of smaller mammals.
Accommodation
Tent under thatch on a raised deck with en-suite bathroom and outdoor shower. A well appointed lapa with swimming pool and bar. A lounge with fireplace for those cold winter evenings and Satellite TV. Internet available at central office. Conference facility available for small groups.
Transfers
Transfers to and from Johannesburg International, Sandton and Pretoria central hotels on request.
Activities on Conservancy
Good birding both on the Conservancy and in the region. Nature walks with guide. Swimming. Great cycling in area - please bring your own bike for this activity. Special interest programmes include star gazing, birding, tree identification.
Around and About
Activities in the vicinity include game drives arranged on conservancy, where you have the opportunity to view rhino and buffalo. No self drive. Trips can be arranged to Cullinan, which is a quaint operating diamond mining town and home of the famous Cullinan Diamond. Golf at Cullinan (9 holes - 18 tee boxes). Visits to Boer war memorials, Italian Prisoner of War Cemetery at Zonderewater.

- AanwysingsProceed on N1 ( road to Polokwane) and take the Sefako Makgatho Drive off ramp just outside Pretoria.
Proceed through toll and turn right at traffic lights, crossing under highway
At next major intersection glide off left and take the R573 to Kwa Mhlanga.
Continue on this road, approximately 45 km to Moloto, passing Roodeplat dam on right and a shopping strip called Wagendrift on left.
As you approach Moloto, you will pass over two traffic circles, and come to a four way stop.
Turn left at fourway stop – Rust de Winter road, and proceed for approximately 10.5km

Proceed through toll and turn right at traffic lights, crossing under highway
