Orkney Golf Club

The Orkney Golf Club is situated in the North West Province, in Orkney, South Africa. The Club lies on the banks of the Vaal River which allows for beautiful scenic views. The Club is popular amongst locals and visitors from all around the country.

The Club was built in 1939 by the legendary golf club architect, Bob Grimsdell. He built a 9 hole course on the Vaal River banks. The original Clubhouse was built out of wood and in 1953, the Clubhouse was finally built out of bricks. as The other 9 holes were added as well.

The Orkney Golf Club is well run and the greens and fairways are beautifully maintained. Be sure to visit the course when you are in the area, you wont be disappointed.
