ABOUT THE VILLA
The Aloha holiday Villa is a self catering 10 sleeper Villa situated in the lush tropical estate in Ponta Mamoli. It is a completely private Villa set up on a hill with a stunning 180' sea view. The Villa consists of an open plan lounge, dining room and kitchen. There are 4 separate stand alone private bedrooms each with air conditioning, ceiling fans and en-suite bathrooms with shower, vanity & toilet. All rooms open onto the wooden deck with a sparkling rim flow pool overlooking the ocean which is less than a 2 minute walk from the Villa.

The Villa has Starlink Wifi connectivity with an online streaming smart TV - you may login to your personal DSTV/Netflix accounts with your own username and password to access . The kitchen is equipped with a gas hob, oven, microwave, fridge, chest freezer, ice machine, crockery & cutlery. In the laundry room there is a dishwasher, washing machine & tumbledryer. Linen and bath towels are provided, as well as beach towels.

There is an outside open fire braai/barbeque next to the poolside.

Room 1 - Queen bed
Room 2 - King bed which can be converted to 2 single beds
Room 3 - Bunk bed plus 2 single beds
Room 4 - King bed which can be converted to 2 single beds

The Villa has a full time housekeeper. As well as all your daily household cleaning, Angelica will do all your washing and ironing for you. Cleaning materials are provided as well as black bags and toilet paper. (Please bring your own brand of washing powder.)


ABOUT THE AREA
Ponta Mamoli is set in a pristine natural coastline with a sub tropical climate along the southern tip of Mozambique, around 100km south of Maputo and 20km north of the Kosi Bay border into South Africa, and 100km from the Komatipoort border.

Here you will find magnificent expanses of beaches with unspoilt offshore reefs which offer excellent scuba diving and snorkelling. No surprise why Ponta Mamoli has been voted as one of the top 10 beaches in Africa !

So true is the saying 'An ocean sunrise is the ultimate sunrise.' Early risers can settle on the deck (with a hot cup of coffee of course !), listen to the gentle sounds of the waves lapping on the shore, & watch in awe as the early morning sun slowly rises over the ocean, bathing her amazing African glow of golds, reds & orange hues over the wild African bush !

After a day of sun, sea, salt & sand, spend late afternoons with family or friends next to the refreshing 6m x 5m rim flow swimming pool, (which also has a small side paddle pool for kids), relaxing with sundowners on the wooden deck as you watch the ocean showcase it's different shades of crystal clear colours of turquoise and blues, everchanging with the flow of the warm Indian Ocean currents.

Watch the majestic whales coming up to the surface to blow air and sea spray or take a 10 minute walk down the beach to Fredericos snorkelling bay (bring own snorkelling equipment.) With the wide expanse of beach at Aloha early morning and late afternoon walks are most relaxing.

At Ponta Mamoli you will find a place so pure & exhilirating that though you will take your memories with you, you will always leave a piece of your soul behind in the sand.

NEAREST VILLAGES
The nearest village from Ponta Mamoli is Ponta Malongane, just 9km from Aloha. Here you will find a pharmacy, a small market with local arts and crafts, various local 'Baraccas' (Cafes) selling the famous 2M Portuguese beer, wine, other spirits as well as the notorious 'R&R' drink made with Tipo-Tinto Rum and Sparberry. There are a few restaurants ranging from Alex's Pizza, Crabs, Sunset Shack (perfect spot for afternoon sundowners.) Most are fairly rustic and have a local Portuguese flavour serving delicious Chicken Per-Peri, and The Drunken Clam where you can sit and watch the sunset over Lake Sugi. There is a dive centre at Ponta Malongane campsite 15km from Ponta Mamoli.

The village of Ponta da Ouro is a 35 minute drive from Aloha. Here you will find a bottle store, pharmacy, petrol station, the BCI bank (local Mozambican bank), ATM, fishing tackle shops, surf shop, local craft market with souvenirs, clothing & wooden crafts, colourful food market where you can buy locally grown fruit and vegetables, alcohol, cigarettes, prawns, and a local bakery which provides fresh warm Portuguese rolls daily known as Pao.

Deep Sea Fishing charters and Scuba diving excursions can be arranged with Gozo Azul Diving Centre. Dolphin viewing trips can be booked at Angie Gullan's Dolphin Centre. Recommended restaurants are the Love Cafe in the village and Florestina on the beachfront. For the health conscious head to Mangos (above the dolphin centre) an open air Hawaiian style mini Restaurant where you can enjoy delicious smoothies, wraps and breakfasts.

Other activities available include boat trips, kayaking, paddleskiing, surfing & kite surfing. Ponta has a lovely sheltered swimming bay perfect for snorkelling and young children. Water sports equipment can be hired here. For the more adventurous at heart, quad bikes can be hired to explore the rugged winding coastal areas, stopping off at rustic Barraca (pubs/shacks) along the way.


B O R D E R T R A N S F E R S
A 4x4 is required to reach the Aloha Estate. Should you be driving from the South African side to the Kosi Bay border without a 4X4 you can leave your car at the South African side of the border where secured parking is provided at approximately R50 per day (at time of print.)

There are local Mozambicans that do border transfers to Aloha.
