Willinga Lodge offers guests room-only accommodation with the option of a communal kitchen for self catering in Kosmos, Hartbeespoort.
Situated in the secure and picturesque village of Kosmos with wonderful views of Hartbeespoortdam Willinga Lodge is a perfect romantic get away.
Only 45 minutes from Johannesburg and 30min from Pretoria.
Set in a beautiful tropical garden are 7 private de luxe suites (5 with thatched roofs) The suites are all very private with separate entrances, terraces or their own private deck. (balcony in the case of the Palm suite)
All 7 suites have en-suite bathrooms with bath and shower, 4 suites have spa baths and 6 suites have fireplaces as well.
The well appointed suites are equipped with bar fridges, overhead fans and coffee and tea making facilities. Toiletries are supplied.
Picnic baskets for 2 can be pre-ordered to enjoy on your own private terrace. Braai facilities are also available at the suites on their own terrace or at the thatched lapa next to the saltwater rock pool. There is a fully equipped main kitchen available for the guests who want to do self catering.
The Tv lounge is equipped with DSTV. The outside Jacuzzi under the trees and a saltwater rock pool are always popular in summer.
We are close to good restaurants, pizza and all other popular fast food outlets as well as a local Spar. There are 2 art galleries in Kosmos 3 artgalleries in Schoemansville and theAfrican craft markets and Welwitsha country market around the corner. Bill Harrops hot air ballooning, The Elephant and Monkey Sanctuary and the De Wildt wild dog and cheetah centre.
Sun City and Pilanesberg game park are only 90km away. Margret Roberts herbal centre, the Van Gaalen cheese farm as well the strawberry farm are 10 min away.
Quad biking courses, horse riding and hiking in the area. Bird watching & safe walks in Kosmos.
Full English breakfasts served in the Bali house with its unique Bali roof imported from Bali. This is in the dining room which has a stunning view of the dam.

From the R512 turn into the KOSMOS road. Pass all the new developments and the fountain in the road.After the Kosmos thatched security gate, take the left road, this is Coleman Street. Go over 5 speed humps. The road changes to Paul Kruger Street. The road goes up the hill past what I call "The Great Wall of China" and +- 150 meters further you see the sign of Duggan Street, we are the next driveway on the left.
Next you will see our wooden sign for Willinga Lodge. The driveway is rather sharp to take the corner so it is easier to go a bit further and turn (where it says "no turning") then come up our driveway from that way.
Don't go all the way to the top, park on the left as you come up the first part of the driveway in the parking area on your left. Walk up the driveway from the parking and then pick up the phone to contact us.
