Big Bottle Food and Wine Festival
The Big Bottle Food and Wine Festival is one of Cape Town's most popular events and runs over two days. The festival brings everything big, bigger and biggest from big brands to monstrous magnum wines. Expect nothing less than the best vintage wines and some of South Africa's most respected chefs who will engineer superb culinary creations for the events. The festival will be hosted at the five star Cellars-Hohenort hotel in Constantia, Cape Town, South Africa.
The two day event which will fall on a Friday and Saturday promises to be fun filled and exciting. Wine Connoisseurs and interested guests will have so much to look forward to. Each year the festival has grown from strength to strength. On Friday, Hendrik Snyman, one of South Africa's champagne importers will be presenting the "Champagne Tasting" event as well as Peter Templehoff, an executive Chef at the Greenhouse at The Cellars-Hohenort, who will be designing a five star dinner. This is a must.

On Saturday, the "Walk Around" event will start at 3pm until 9pm. This is a great event where you can walk around and enjoy hours of fine wine and superb dining through the various tasting rooms. The festival is full of fun and is a definite must on everyone's list of things to do when visiting the Cape.
