Wines 2 Whales Mountain Bike Race
The Wines 2 Whales Mountain Bike Race takes place in the Western Cape (dates to be confirmed). The race will start in Somerset West on the beautiful Lourensford Estate and finish in Hermanus at the Onrus Caravan Park. The contestants will get to see some of the most breathtaking views along the way. The race will run over three days on a course over and around the Hottentots Holland Mountain towards the Elgin Valley towards the Overstrand. The course offers many challenges through 13 wineries, 26 private farms, six mountains, historic roads and mountain passes.
Each team must consist of 2 cyclists and they will ride approximately 70 - 80km per day. This race is popular amongst local and visiting mountain bike enthusiasts from all around the country. Be sure to book you place.
