Cogmans Kloof Trail

The Cogmans Kloof Trail is a 12.1km hike that starts and finishes at The Old Meul (Mill). The hike takes approximately four to six hours and only goes to a height of plus or minus 500m unlike the Bloupunt Trail which climbs to 1000m. The hike like most hikes in Montagu has beautiful views, amazing rock formations and wild indigenous flowers as well as fynbos, which is the natural vegetation which is only found in a small area of the Werstern Cape known as The Cape Floral Kingdom. A guided hike can be arranged at a cost of around R30 per person for this hike.
