My husband and I were traveling from Cape Town to Johannesburg towing a large car trailer so not the fastest journey. We decided to stay over night at GaMamadi and phoned Annalise to confirm that we would be late arriving.
Annalise was there to welcome us and took us to our room immediately. Greeted by a very clean warm comfortable room we could not ask for more. Shower and white fluffy towels great after a long day driving.

Tea, coffee and rusks, breakfast cereal was a fantastic way to wake up and start the next leg of our journey.
I would highly recommend a stay here and next time we intend to enjoy the breathtaking scenery and sample some of Annalise’s meals.
If you are driving on the N1 and need a stopover for a night or a couple of days would highly recommend GaMamadi.
