The Gariep Kunstefees is held in Kimberley in the Northern Cape in South Africa. It is usually held during the first weekend of September. The english translation of Kunstefees means, Arts Festival. Gariep is a lovely little town in Kimberley and each year this festival brings locals and visitors into the town to enjoy a great weekend full of fun and entertainment. The festival has many food stalls, arts & crafts, exhibitions, childrens theatre and many local musicians who bring a great line up of live music. There is so much to see and do, don't miss out on this "Proudly South African" annual event.
