The Marievale Bird Sanctuary is one of several important bird areas in South Africa. It is situated in the Vaal Triangle in the Gauteng province of South Africa. This sanctuary, a wetland, attracts up to 65 different water bird species. In total, over 3500 birds are spotted here, from a variety of ducks to spoonbills you will be amazed.
