The Dutch Reformed Mother Church, Beaufort West
Beaufort West is the oldest town in the Central Karoo and is home to the Dutch Reformed Mother Church which was built in 1892. Reverend Colin Fraser, a Scottish immigrant was the first minister here.
This South African landmark, started off as a small thatched roof building in 1930 and has since been turned into a strong and beautiful church that brings much character to the town.
